The Unusual Findings demo joins the Steam Next Fest celebrations
Get a taste of this classic-style point & click adventure before its October 5th drive on Kickstarter to find console ports
Moscow, October 1st, 2021 - Buka Entertainment are kicking it old-school at the Steam Next Fest today (and all week long) with the demo for Unusual Findings. In this classic 90s-style adventure from indie studio Epic Llama, join a trio of teens on a wild ride through a rollercoaster ride through 80s nostalgia, 8-bit gaming, VHS rental stores and a possible alien invasion. Players can try the Unusual Findings demo today on Steam, wishlist the game and check out the Kickstarter here when it launches on Tuesday, October 5th. With the game due for release soon on PC, Epic Llama are turning to Kickstarter to bring Unusual Findings to other platforms, including Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S/X, and PlayStation 4/5. Additional stretch goals will allow them to expand the scope of the game across all systems, including new scenes, mini-games, and more.

Unusual Findings channels the spirit of classic teen adventure movies like The Goonies, Monster Squad and The Lost Boys and pairs them with the gameplay of classic adventure games such as Maniac Mansion and Day Of The Tentacle. The ordinary lives of a trio of kids is shattered by a series of grisly murders in town, and the prime suspect might just be out of this world.

The full version of Unusual Findings launches on Steam this autumn, with a playable demo available now. The Kickstarter begins on October 5th. If fully funded, Unusual Findings will be coming to all platforms in early 2022, featuring additional content, mini-games and more for all platforms.

About Epic Llama:
Epic LLama is an indie game developer based in Argentina. The team has been making games for over ten years (a lot of flash browser games were made in our early years, such as browser arena-RPG Champions Of Chaos 1 and 2, puzzle/strategy game Bro Team and the notoriously tough Rodriguez Revenge) with exceptional love to their work and to the game industry itself.
In 2017 they have released their first big point and click adventure Darkestville Castle on Steam. Later the game hit both iOS and Android, as well as PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in 2020. The dev team even had the opportunity to meet Ron Gilbert in person and see him play the game.
